Hanuman Converted into Ravan

On August 19, 2009 A very senior politician, a former foreign minister Major Jaswant Singh was expelled from BJP for admiring founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in his latest book “ Jinnah – India-Partition-Independence”. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani made his removal from the party after 30 years of association even more painful and shocking.

BJP is really converted into Hindu Taliban. Earlier she criticized Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who has tried to extend his hand to revive the composite dialogues. He was condemned by BJP and even extremist elements of his own party. He was forced to change his stance regarding peace process. He was also asked to blame Pakistan for planning and execution of another terrorist attack in near future in India.

Now Jaswant Singh is under cloud and expelled from BJP for admiring a great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. On August 20, 2009 Jaswant Singh while interacting with journalists himself admitted that he has been converted from Hanuman to Ravan.

Earlier too Indian Cabinet failed to take any action against a foreign air line once their former Muslim president was degraded at New Delhi Airport. Simply we can say that BJP is converted herself into Hindu Taliban. The minorities would be really in trouble in so called secular state in future.

The expulsion of Jaswant Singh is not the first case earlier BJP thrown out Madan Lal Khurana, but when Khurana exposed foul connections between the most wanted allegedly terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, Advani and Sushma Swaraj, then he was taken back into the BJP fold. Khurana was either telling the truth or he was openly lying.

Jaswant Sing was also famous for revealing truth in the party. Thus similar action has been taken against him for praising Jinnah. In fact many of the BJP secrets have not come out yet. The Indian politicians are compelled to tow the political ideology of the party which is base on appeasement of Hindu centric. BJP and extremist Hindu leaders openly claim that there is no room for free thinking in Hindu dominant state. That is the reason minorities cannot perform their religious norms and obligation freely and without fear.

According to reliable media sources Jaswant Sing was very popular in moderate elements of India. Some of the political scholars do consider him a future Prime Minister of India. The recent horrible defeat of BJP further strengthens the demand of replacement of Advani. The sources said that Advani probably found a chance of throwing out future prime minister Jaswant Singh and managed his survival in BJP.

India is being run by extremists elements present in masses, politicians, high ups, intelligence agencies and military do not have any desire to normalize the relations with Pakistan. That is the reason when Manmohan Sing’s soft statement of July 16, 2009 came up at Sharm El-Sheikh., the Hindu fundamentalist started yelling against their Prime minister. They declared their prime minister as weak personality.

The criticism on a Sikh prime minister and removal of former president shoes on the airport, raping of Kashmiries, Sikhs and moist women, brutality against Muslims, Christians and Tamils are sufficient enough to reflect the true picture of Indian secularism.

Thus, Indian Junior External Affairs Minister Shashi Tharoor remarks regarding joint statement of prime ministers of two countries in Sharm El-Sheikh would be taken as against diplomatic norms and degrading of Indian Sikh prime minister by the Extremist Hindu.

Anyhow, the current ruffling up on diplomatic and political front in India reflect, (1) the strong hold of extremist’s Hindu lobby on national affairs, (2) dominance of deadly anti Pakistan elements in Indian establishment those never like any normalization of relations between two traditional rivals, (3) extremists Hindu are after Sikh prime minister, (4) Supremacy of radical and fanatics politicians in India, (5) differences between Sikh Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Sing and other Hindus political comrades of same party,(6) true face of secular India,(7) promotion of Hindu Terrorism,(8) desire of regional supremacy and last but not the least, overruling international laws and diplomatic norms.

They compelled Prime minister to change his posture. In this connection Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said at a security conference in New Delhi on Monday that there was “credible information” of plans by terrorist groups in Pakistan to carry out attacks on India. Pakistan responded to the remarks by inviting India’s Deputy High Commissioner in Islamabad to the Foreign Office where he was conveyed Pakistani request for full information. “We can’t take any such statement lightly. Pakistan wants peaceful and friendly relationship with all its neighbours and that’s why it wants that the misunderstandings should be ratified. So, let’s see what they respond to us,” the Foreign Minister said.

Talking to media after addressing a function at the Foreign Services Academy Tuesday, Qureshi said Pakistan wanted an exchange of credible information that India was supposed to posses on which Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had based his statement. He said Prime Ministers of both countries had decided in Sharm El Shiek to cooperate in information sharing with each other for curbing the menace of terrorism.

Anyhow, taking stance on world fora and changing point of view under the of Hindu extremist pressure groups on various burning , blaming ISI , targeting Pakistan Nuclear programme , thrust of grabbing water resources of neighbour countries has become the fashion of Indian politics. Most of the Indian politicians are involved in corruption cases, nuclear proliferation, rape scandals and crushing minorities.

Indian Armed forces and Navy is really converted into Rogue Armed Forces. There are rape cases in which very high ranking officer found involved in sexual harassment of lady officers and wives of their subordinates. All those who try to raise the voice have been either murdered like Karkarya or sent to jails on various self created crimes.

However, Indian top military and political top brass never took seriously criminal activities of their politicians and leaders. They always tried to snub those politicians who believe in normalization of bilateral relation with the neighboring countries. In short Mr Jaswant Singh has no regret over his remarks about Muhammad Ali Jinnah but is sad due to his sudden expulsion from the party by an extremist Hindu Leader L K Advani.

Whatever happened to Jaswant singh shouldn't have happened. He served the party for 30 long years and in return got expelled in a minute. BJP should revert its decision.

BJP is always in limelight for wrong things. I have always found it gaining negative publicity. May be that is why it could not form the govt this time.

Mr. Zaheerul Hasan from Lahore,Pakistan first in my view you should extend gratitudes to Instablogs for permitting your article on it’s site.In case anyone from India had written such an article on Pakistan and it’s establishment, the site might have been blocked by now.You started with Jaswant Singh-Jinah controvesry and ended up in blaming, rather tarnishing the image of all it’s politician, religious communities and it’s defence forces. Pardon me dear you are framing your opinions about India and it’s establishments totally based on wrong notions and misconceptions.I don’t know whether you have ever been to India or not?
First, let me tell you India is the best example of ”unity in diversity” in world.People of different religions, cultures and languages living in different parts of the country feel proud to be an Indian citizen. You may not find such an example anywhere in the world.
Secondly,Mr. Manmohan Singh is the best qualified person among all heads of states in the world. And he is doing a fine job.Oppostion has to do the job of a watchdog and as such is bound to criticize politically on the policies of the Govt. It’s all in national interest. I find nothing wrong in it.Let me remind you that politicans of all parties including ex-prime ministers attended the dinner hosted for Gen P. Mussaraf when he visited India. It is nowhere possible in your country.Till the other day better known as ten percent in Pakistan was crowned at the highest post.
Then,India being the largest democracy and also being a devloping country has it’s own problems and a stray incidents of law and order cannnot be made national issues. Here people of all religions live in complete harmony.Constituion of India provides equal oppertunities to all.I have personally seen Muslim youths organising colony level Ramlilas and even playing various characters of Ramayana and Hindus inviting their Muslim neighbours at Iftars. Not one there are so many examples of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood in India. But these are not highlighted in media or press.Because these are the normal way of life here.On the other hand one small issue which goes against the national ethics finds full coverage.Minorities are fully protected here and are safe too. You need not bother about that.
I’m not a political person. But I think of Jaswant Singh issue is simple inner party matter. One is free to make his own opinion. So is Jaswant Singh. But being a senior member of BJP he should not go against the party line. Moreover he was not expelled from party for praising Jinnah but for condemning Sardar Patel. In my view he should ought to have quit the party himself before his book release.Expelling a family member who don’t follow the family norms seems to be justified.
So far Pakistan or it’s founding father Mr. Jinnah are concerned,I don’t find fault in any of the two.Pakistan is an idependent country and nobody is denying it’s existance. All Pakistani citizens should be proud of it’s founding father i.e. Mr. Jinnah.
Nothing wrong in it.He could realise his demand of independent Pakistan. There are very few people in history who could do so.
But, if we rely on the pages of undivied Indian history, Mr. Jinnah raised the demand of Pakistan for Muslims only to fulfill his personal political ambition. His demand to be the first Prime Minister of independent India was not conceded by Jawahar Lal Nehru.Has this ambition been honoured he would have dropped his demand of separate Pakistan.Even some people in present time consider this a folly of Jawahar Lal Nehru.
But could this demand of separate Pakistan for Muslims raised by Mr. Jinnah serve the larger interests of Muslims,Hindus or the humanity at large.Muslims are still more in number in India than in Pakistan. Then who will share the blame of bloodshed of both Hindus and Muslims on either side of the border soon after the partition?Even the dreams of real Pakistan once forseen by Mr. Jinnah seems to be unfulfilled so far. Half of the time since partition the country has been ruled by the dictators,ex prime ministers hanged or expelled from the country. Is this truely a ”Pak” nation?
Sorry Mr. Hassan ,if I hurt your feelings.I have no such intentions.Being an Indian citizen and since I have studied the history of undivided India I feel pain at the partition of the country and the bloodshed that took place thereafter. It was the ”divide and rule” policy of the Britishres which our forefathers could not see and today India and Pakistan once a part of great ”undivided India” stood adversry to each other.
Time is a great healer.Example of two Germanies uniting again is there.I don’t find it wrong to have a similar dream. After all united India,Pakistan and Bangladesh can become a super super power and can challenge all present day so called super powers like US,China,Russia etc.And this is not impossible too. After all our ancestors are common, have lived in complete harmony for centuries. We share the colour ,language, culture and even blood too.Blood is thicker than water Mr.Hassan.

Dear RAJ
I Simply say , please donot try to negate the two nation theory . Its very much there. Muhammad Ali Jinnah never ever demanded for becoming the Prime Minister of United India. Pakistan , Bangladesh and India are now realities of the time. lets ask our governments to respect eacohter rights. India is the largest democracy but lacking the norms of democracy. she must respect the rights of Kashmiries in democratic way and give them rights of self determiniation. In South Asia,it is common perception that Indian leaders never respect their own verdicts. Nero agreed on Plebesite in Kashmir during Indo-Sino War. what happened to that? Now Prime mInister Manmohan Singh agreed on composite dialogues but again changed his stance. Forment Prime mInister Shaistari admitted at Tasqand to resolve the issue but against refused to do so. Now there should be some mediator to resolve the issues of two neighbours. Anyhow comming back to the Jaswant Singh Book, i saw ppl burning the book In india. Gujrat province banned the Book in their province because of a democratic country. SORRY, if i hurt urs feeling too. however thankfull to u for reading my and commenting on my article.

Dear Gaurav,
I don’t agree with your views, because indecipline in party breaks the system and increased decipline shall break the party. On the other hand after having expelled from the party being an old stalvert he could have moblised his supporters on the issue. From a veteren it was never expected that decsions taken by the then cabinet in the intrest/security of the nation made to public and that too Media after his expulsion. Which might be breach of Oath taken by him as Cabinet Minister.
